The Wireless Smoke Detector is a supervised, wireless, battery-powered photoelectric detector. It includes a built-in sounder, LED status indicator, and wireless transmitter.
The Smoke Detector notifies the Central Monitoring Station when smoke or fire is detected and if the Detector's battery is low. Both smoke alarms and low battery conditions are annunciated locally. During an alarm, the detector emits a pulsing tone and its indicator light flashes rapidly. For low battery conditions the unit emits a beep every minute.
The Detector sends a supervisory signal every 64 minutes to the Central Monitoring Station to assure proper Detector operation.
