Central Monitoring Station

The fully redundant Central Monitoring Station is the heart of the community resident safety system. The Station receives alarms and information through the resident safety back-bone from wireless help, check-in and community monitoring transmitters. All information is recorded and staff is notified when appropriate through pagers or staff phones.

	Features

	The Station consists of the SmartCare Resident Safety monitoring application, a Central Alarm Receiver, Uninterruptible Power Supply, Report Printer and interfaces to community alarm / fire panels. The Central Alarm Receiver is a highly-reliable, alarm-processing and backbone monitoring device. It is in constant communication with the SmartCare PC to assure staff notification of community events.
