Emergency Call Process

Call for Help from Resident
A resident’s call from a personal help button or pull cord is wirelessly transmitted to a receiver.

Alarm Received
Alarm receivers wirelessly receive a call for help and transmit the call over telephone lines, computer cable or wirelessly to a monitoring station. Receivers are placed to protect both resident rooms, common areas and walking paths. Alarm Processed and Sent to Caregiver

Alarm Recorded
Lifeline’s Central Response Centers provide sophisticated yet easy to use software to integrate and store all community life safety information. Community staff can easily document help and safety activities, transmit calls to caregivers, track call response, store resident medical information and produce flexible reports.

Page Sent
Pager or staff phone receives help call message from monitoring station. Message includes; resident name, apartment, phone number, alarm type, and special instructions.
